For the Noodles
  • 2 cups Noodles lo mein, yakisoba, or linguine
For the Veggies
  • 1 tablespoon Neutral oil vegetable or canola
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh ginger grated
  • 2 cups Bok choy chopped
  • 1 cup Shredded carrots
  • 1 cup Red cabbage optional, can substitute with green cabbage
  • 2 stalks Green onions sliced
For the Protein
  • 1 cup Ground meat or crumbled tofu optional
For the Sauce
  • ¼ cup Low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Honey or brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon Red pepper flakes optional
  • ¼ cup Water or broth
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Cook the Noodles: Cook noodles according to package directions until al dente, about 5-7 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water.
  2. Sear the Potstickers: Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and add frozen potstickers in a single layer. Sear for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Steam the Potstickers: Add water, cover with a lid, and steam for 5-6 minutes until cooked through. Remove from skillet.
  4. Cook the Protein: Add ground meat or tofu to the skillet. Cook until browned, about 4-5 minutes, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  5. Sauté the Aromatics: Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds. Add bok choy, carrots, and cabbage; stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Prepare the Sauce: Whisk together sauce ingredients in a bowl. Pour into the skillet with veggies, simmer for 1 minute.
  7. Combine Noodles and Veggies: Add cooked noodles, tossing with veggies and sauce on low heat.
  8. Add Protein and Potstickers: Return cooked protein and potstickers to the skillet. Heat through for about 2 minutes.
  9. Serve and Garnish: Spoon into bowls and garnish with green onions or chili oil. Enjoy!
