Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Boil the 4 cups of water in a medium-sized pot over medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced ginger and simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat, add the 4 green tea bags, cover, and steep for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Remove tea bags or strain the loose tea and stir in 2 tablespoons of honey until dissolved.
  4. Add the juice of 1 lemon to the warm tea mixture and stir well.
  5. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature for about 15 minutes, then refrigerate until chilled, about 1 hour.
  6. Fill tall glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled tea over the ice.
  7. Garnish with a slice of lemon and enjoy!
