Step-by-Step Instructions for Smoked Chicken Wings
  1. Rinse the chicken wings under cold water, then pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a large bowl, combine paprika, salt, black pepper, cumin, and garlic powder. Stir until uniform.
  3. Toss the wings in the spice mixture for an even coating. Marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C) and soak the wood chips in water for about 30 minutes.
  5. Drain the wood chips and add them to your smoker or place them in a smoker box on the grill.
  6. Place the seasoned wings on the smoker grate with some space in between. Smoke for about 2 hours.
  7. Increase the smoker’s temperature to 400°F (200°C) or transfer wings to a hot grill for an additional 15-20 minutes.
  8. Remove wings from heat, rest for 5 minutes, then serve with your favorite sauces.
