Step-by-Step Instructions for Smoked Chicken Wings
- Rinse the chicken wings under cold water, then pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a large bowl, combine paprika, salt, black pepper, cumin, and garlic powder. Stir until uniform.
- Toss the wings in the spice mixture for an even coating. Marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C) and soak the wood chips in water for about 30 minutes.
- Drain the wood chips and add them to your smoker or place them in a smoker box on the grill.
- Place the seasoned wings on the smoker grate with some space in between. Smoke for about 2 hours.
- Increase the smoker’s temperature to 400°F (200°C) or transfer wings to a hot grill for an additional 15-20 minutes.
- Remove wings from heat, rest for 5 minutes, then serve with your favorite sauces.

Notes
For best results, use fresh or thawed wings and do not skip the marinating step. Monitor smoker temperature closely during cooking.
