Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Season 1 pound of chicken chunks with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 6 to 8 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet.
  2. In the same skillet, combine low-sodium soy sauce, honey, water, vinegar, and minced garlic. Stir well and simmer for 1 to 2 minutes to infuse flavors.
  3. For a thicker glaze, mix cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of water to form a slurry, then add to the simmering sauce while stirring. Cook for another 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce. Simmer for another minute until well mixed.
  5. Serve warm over rice, quinoa, or veggies. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
