  • 2 cups Rolled oats old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons Maple syrup real maple syrup
For the Mix-ins
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips any type, mini chips work well
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine mashed bananas, nut butter, rolled oats, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and maple syrup.
  3. Gently fold in chocolate chips and salt, stirring until the mixture is cohesive.
  4. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan and press down firmly.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes until golden brown and set.
  6. Let the bars cool completely before lifting out of the pan and cutting into squares.
