  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Melt three tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion, diced carrots, and potatoes. Cook for 5–7 minutes until tender.
  3. Sprinkle in ¼ cup of all-purpose flour and stir continuously for another minute to develop the sauce.
  4. Gradually whisk in 2 cups of chicken broth, stirring consistently until boiling. Allow it to thicken for 3–5 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and mix in shredded chicken and peas. Season with salt and pepper.
