Cooking Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). While heating, place frozen French fries in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes until crispy.
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and diced onion over medium heat for 8–10 minutes, until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, ketchup, and yellow mustard to the beef mixture. Simmer for 2–3 minutes to blend flavors.
- Transfer the baked fries to a 9x13-inch baking dish, evenly spread across the bottom, and spoon the beef mixture over them.
- Sprinkle 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture, and layer additional cheese slices if desired.
- Bake in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for 10–15 minutes until cheese melts and bubbles. Broil for an additional 1–2 minutes for a golden finish.
- Let cool for a few minutes, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve hot with optional toppings like pickles and tomatoes.
