Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan. Mix chocolate cookie crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar until crumbly.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of the springform pan to form an even crust.
- Blend cream cheese and sugar until smooth, then mix in sour cream, eggs, cornstarch, vanilla extract, and milk until lump-free.
- Pour the filling over the crust and smooth the top.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until edges are set and center jiggles slightly.
- Turn off the oven, crack the door, and cool for 1 hour. Then chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
