Cooking Steps
- In a large skillet, heat over medium heat and add 1 lb of ground beef. Cook the beef for about 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it is fully browned.
- Carefully drain any excess grease from the skillet, then sprinkle in the taco seasoning, mixing well. Stir in 1 cup of cooked rice and 1 can of drained beans, and heat for another 2-3 minutes.
- Lay out 4 large flour tortillas on a clean surface. Spread a generous amount of the beef mixture in the center of each tortilla.
- Sprinkle approximately ½ cup of shredded cheese over the beef mixture on each tortilla. Add any extra toppings if desired.
- To close the burritos, fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling and roll tightly until fully enclosed.
- If you prefer crispy tortillas, heat an air fryer or skillet over medium heat and cook the rolled burritos for about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove the burritos from the heat and let them cool slightly. Serve with fresh salsa, sour cream, and guacamole on the side.
