Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook until al dente, about 8–10 minutes. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat to medium and add Italian sausage, breaking it into crumbles. Sauté for 6–8 minutes until browned.
  3. Push sausage to side of skillet. Add butter and let it melt. Stir in minced garlic and crushed red pepper flakes; cook until fragrant.
  4. Combine sausage with garlic butter. Add spinach and cook 2–3 minutes until wilted. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add cooked spaghetti and marinara sauce to skillet; toss for 2–3 minutes until well coated.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over pasta; cover and melt on low heat for 3–5 minutes, or broil for a bubbly finish.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan. Serve warm.
