Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the pie crust and press it into a deep-dish pan. Prick the bottom with a fork and prebake for 7–8 minutes until lightly golden.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and Italian sausage until browned, about 8–10 minutes. Drain excess grease, then stir in garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
  3. Spread the ricotta cheese evenly across the bottom of the prebaked pie crust.
  4. Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella over the ricotta.
  5. Spoon the cooked meat mixture over the cheese layer evenly.
  6. Pour the pizza sauce or marinara gently over the meat layer.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella over the top.
  8. Arrange the pepperoni slices over the cheese layer and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
