Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine chocolate cake mix, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir in mini chocolate chips.
- Spread half of the batter into the prepared dish. Sprinkle mini marshmallows on top, then dollop remaining batter.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, until lightly cracked on top. The center should remain gooey.
- Cool for 10 minutes, then optionally sprinkle with powdered sugar or additional chocolate chips.
- Cut into squares and serve warm or at room temperature with ice cream or whipped cream.
