  • 1 Meyer lemon or regular lemon small, thinly sliced
  • Fresh basil leaves a handful for topping and extra for serving

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 450 degrees F (232 degrees C).
  2. On a lightly floured surface, stretch or roll out the pizza dough into a 10-12 inch circle.
  3. Lightly brush olive oil over the surface of the crust. Sprinkle garlic, shallots, Parmesan, sesame seeds, thyme, and chili flakes over the dough.
  4. Evenly distribute the fresh mozzarella and provolone cheese over the toppings.
  5. Arrange the lemon slices over the cheese and add torn basil leaves on top.
  6. Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 10 to 15 minutes until golden and bubbling.
  7. Sprinkle fresh basil leaves on top before serving. Allow to cool slightly, then slice and serve.
