Step-by-Step Instructions for Crack Chicken Penne
- Boil a pot of salted water, add penne pasta and cook until al dente, about 10-12 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Sauté bacon in a pot over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove bacon and leave some fat in the pot.
- Add chicken to the pot, cook until golden. If using, add onion and garlic. Cook until chicken is no longer pink, about 6-8 minutes.
- Sprinkle ranch seasoning over chicken and add chicken broth. Simmer for about 3-5 minutes.
- Stir in the softened cream cheese until melted and creamy, about 3 minutes.
