Method
 

Instructions
  1. Press and drain the tofu thoroughly. Cut into ½-inch thick pieces.
  2. Whisk together tamari, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and minced garlic for the marinade. Marinate the tofu for 30-60 minutes.
  3. Prepare the dipping sauce by mixing lime juice, tamari, maple syrup, garlic, chili flakes, and green onion. Refrigerate.
  4. Set up a breading station with salt and pepper mixed with cornstarch, aquafaba in a bowl, and panko mixed with sesame seeds.
  5. Coat each tofu piece in cornstarch, dip in aquafaba, then press into the panko-sesame mixture.
  6. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook the tofu for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Serve the crispy tofu garnished with sliced green onion, alongside the dipping sauce.
