  • 1 medium head green cabbage chopped

  • 3 cloves garlic minced

  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika for warmth
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds optional
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice for zest

Cooking Steps
  1. Pour 2 tablespoons of olive oil into a large skillet and heat over medium for about 2 minutes until shimmering.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until golden brown and fragrant.
  3. Quickly stir in the chopped cabbage and sauté for about 1 minute until beginning to wilt.
  4. Sprinkle in the salt, black pepper, paprika, and optional caraway seeds. Cook for another 10-15 minutes until tender.
  5. Once tender, squeeze in 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and stir to incorporate.
  6. Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
