Preparation Steps
  1. In a bowl, mix the warmed whole milk, granulated white sugar, and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 10 minutes until foamy.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, ground cinnamon, and the other warm spices. Add salt and granulated sugar.
  3. Mix in eggs, vanilla extract, softened butter, and the foamy yeast mixture. Knead for about 7 to 10 minutes.
  4. Transfer the kneaded dough to a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm area for 1 to 1.5 hours.
  5. Heat heavy cream and steep chai tea bags for 10 minutes. Mix with butter, brown sugar, spices, honey, vanilla extract, and pinch of salt.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread the filling mixture, roll tightly, slice into 12 rolls.
  7. Place sliced rolls over chai caramel sauce, pour in heavy cream, cover, and let rise again for about 1 hour.
  8. Preheat oven to 350°F, bake for 29-32 minutes until golden brown, then let cool for 10 minutes.
  9. Beat together softened butter and cream cheese, add powdered sugar, vanilla, and spices, whipping until smooth.
  10. Drizzle the frosting generously over rolls while warm.
